100 Years Of Rolls Royce

Rolls Royce cars, once things of utter beauty, the last word in engineering, carriage of kings and aristocrats.  But now? Is it anything more than a tawdry status symbol for celebrities, bankers and plumbers?

This is the tale of Phantoms, Shadows and Ghosts; of the rise and fall of a great British Institution; a company that once proudly claimed to make the best car in the world.  The series looks back at 100 years of the Rolls Royce and examines the relationship of Charles Rolls and Henry Royce and how they set out to build the best car in the world.
