Storm in a D-Cup

Channel Four

1 x 60 mins

This controversial film exposes the junk science behind the anti-breast implant campaign.  Breast implants, it is argued, can indeed cause problems, just as any implant (like an artificial hip-joint or pace-maker).  But there is no good scientific evidence to support the contention that breast implants cause serious injury.  Indeed, as the film reveals, there is much intriguing evidence to suggest that breast implants may help to combat cancer.

'One of the bravest and most eloquent documentaries I've seen in years.' - Stuart Hennessey, Scotland on Sunday

'This documentary rather brilliantly exposes a particularly alarmist society, one that has access to an awful lot of information, but still reacts to it in a manner of 16th Century witch hunts.' - Evening Standard

'After viewing this endlessly fascinating film, you might decide it's really worth letting the surgeons get their hands on your mammary glands after all.' - Boyd Hilton, Heat
